Left the ground in black and white

And when the plane went down, the colors all around

I know by now the marching slide

And still I can’t get out, she’s all I think about

Can’t let her go, it’s who you know

We came down to watch the world walk by

And all she found was trouble in my eyes

From the sky she pulled me down tonight

She moves fast

Take control an like a heart attack

I know I can’t turn back

Nights moved slow

And she was all I had, I thought I’d never last

Empty moments sleepless nights, I think about you every night

Wondering what went wrong

What we had would seem so right

But just as quick your out of sight

You talk to me with words like moving on

Did it seem so simple to you

Was I just another thing for you to do ?

Did you ever mean the things you said

Or was I just another notch on your bed ?

I thought you needed me too

I thought your feelings were true

I thought you head was in my place

But now you’ve proven me wrong

And I will rise and be strong

And one day soon this pain will fade

I just wanted things to be so good
